Abducted By A Stranger

What to do if your child disappears

If you discover that your child is missing, begin searching immediately. Enlist the help of family and neighbors. Search everywhere. If you still are unable to find your child, call the police immediately.

Be prepared to provide identifying information to the police. The following questions are only a few examples of questions you may be asked:

  • What was your child wearing when last seen?
  • Did they have a hat on?
  • Do they wear glasses?
  • Were they carrying a toy?
  • Who was you child last seen with?
  • Do you know where they were going?
  • Do they have any hangouts you haven’t yet checked?
  • Have there been any major events or unusual incidents in you house recently?

Check the phone for the last call out. Keep your phone line clear for incoming calls.
